A Robust, Self-Propelled DTH Wagon Drill for Surface Drilling

The RMT 25 (DTH) is functionally comparable to the Atlas Copco BVB 25-10 series wagon drill; the RMT 25 DTH is powered by a piston-type air motor (BBR-4), suitable for 3" and 4" DTH hammers, and drills holes of 85-130 mm and depths of up to 40 metres (131 feet).

Air consumption is 450 cfm at 10.5 bar, with a maximum torque of 900 Nm through a planetary rotation unit with reduction gear and seal ring. The standard length of the fee system (feed beam) is 5430 mm. However, as per individual requirement or clearance issue in the drilling site, the user can select from the other two customized feed beam length options of 4425mm and 2825mm, respectively.

A standout feature of the RMT 25 DTH is its quick conversion kit: it can be converted to the Top Hammer version (RMT 25 TH) without major changes, giving the users the flexibility to switch from DTH to Top Hammer version with a few simple adjustments, as per the requirement of the project.

The RMT 25 DTH Wagon Drill is designed primarily for open cast mining blast hole drilling, sandstone and limestone mine development, quarry production drilling, and grout hole applications.
