RMT 3/30 JLD Jackleg Drill

The RMT 3/30 Jackleg Drill is particularly suited for underground mining and tunnel applications where operators often work in confined areas and need a drill that can handle horizontal as well as inclined drilling.

The drill works with a pusher leg and can be used for holes in the 27–46 mm range, and capability of up to around 6 metres with suitable 22 mm drill steel. The water or air flushing feature also helps remove drilling cuttings from the hole.

RMT 3/30 JLD is the same as the model designed by Holman Brothers, which was introduced in the market in the year 1930. The pneumatic drills of Holman Brothers dominated the British Commonwealth Mining Territories.
