How the BBD 15ET Relates to the BBD 15E

The BBD 15ET and BBD 15E are built on the same platform with identical weight class, air consumption and impact performance.

• BBD 15E — Uses a combined T/D handle, allowing flexibility for both horizontal and vertical drilling applications.
• BBD 15ET — Uses a dedicated trigger valve handle designed mainly for vertical-down drilling where precise control is required.

The difference between both models is not drilling power but the handle and control mechanism. The BBD 15ET provides specialised control for operators performing continuous vertical drilling.

• Modified backhead assembly for trigger valve operation.

OEM Availability

RMT supplies the BBD 15ET only as the original, genuine Atlas Copco tool. Currently, there is no RMT-manufactured aftermarket equivalent available for this model.
