BBD 12 DS - Sinker Drill

Like the standard BBD 12D, the BBD 12DS (8311 0102 80) uses a D-type handle for horizontal drilling, plug hole drilling, and drilling in concrete, working to a shallow depth of around 1 metre.

At roughly 10.7 kg, it's slightly heavier than the standard BBD 12D — the silencer housing adds a bit of mass — with air consumption around 22 l/s and an impact rate of about 2,580 blows per minute.

Original Atlas Copco BBD 12DS Availability

Unlike the BBD 12D, which RMT offers as both an original Atlas Copco tool and the RMT 12D aftermarket equivalent, the BBD 12DS is available through RMT only as the genuine, original Atlas Copco tool.

There is currently no RMT-manufactured aftermarket version of this specific silenced model. It comes in a single shank size — Hex 19 x 108 mm (8311010280), so there's no shank selection to make; buyers simply need to confirm this matches their existing drill steel.
