TEX 190 PE - Pneumatic Breaker

It comes in two different variants with different shank sizes.

• a. 8461 0224 31: - Shank size 25 x 108 mm (1" x 4¼") - Standard
• b. 8461 0224 33: - Shank size 28 x 160 mm (1⅛" x 6¼") - Optional.

How to decide which shank to select – 25 x 108 mm or 28 x 160 mm

It is a common confusion among the users to decide which shank size to select for the required demolition hammer.

• a. 8461022431 (25 x 108 mm): - If your work requires both horizontal and vertical operation, then select the 25 x 108 mm shank, as the working chisel or bit will be slightly shorter and lighter. Because of the low weight of the bit, it is more convenient to use the tool sideways to break the wall.
• b. 8461 0224 33 (28 x 160 mm): - If your work is only for downward vertical breaking, then you can go for the 28 mm shank size. As the bit is thicker and sits deeper in the tool, it will not snap due to the heavy load of pavement breaking.
